Women's Mission has evolved and expanded over the years.  Years ago, our missions involvement was limited to a Christmas missions project every year. Starting about three years ago, we decided that we wanted to expand our missions outreach, while also expanding the women's awareness of outreaches (local and foreign) supported by our church.

To summarize some of our women's missions activities:

  • Whenever possible, we have foreign missionaries come and speak to our women when they are stateside. We also have local ministries supported by Calvary Chapel speak.

  • When Calvary Chapel sends out a missions team, we look to see if there is a way that we can help fund their projects.
For example, we recently provided funds for moisture-proof drywall for a building project at a children's home in Mexico.

  • For foreign missionaries, we have packed and sent care packages along with encouraging notes.

  • Within the church, we help stock our food pantry.

  • Locally, we have collected baby items for a pregnancy center and made gospel bracelets for an outreach to children, to name a few.

To find out what our current women's missions project is, check our women's ministry bulletin board.  We take donations throughout the year to fund our projects.  Donations can always be made in our women's missions box at our events or put in the regular offering with "women's missions" on the memo line.
